Day 1 – Zakynthos, Zante

I have been counting down the days till Zante and it is finally here and I absolutely love it!

My boyfriend (Bailey) and I travelled the Thursday night to arrive on the Friday morning at 6am, we took a nap for a few hours as I really cannot sleep on planes.

We started the morning at Avanti for breakfast where we treated ourselves to a full english breakfast (I know, travelling to Greece to get an english breakfast, typical). It was lovely, the service was amazing.

As my sister is working out in Zante we met up with her along the beach which is conveniently a few footsteps away from our hotel. My sister and I went on a paddle boat for an hour which was so fun I am thinking of doing it again while we’re out here!

For lunch Bailey and I tried a restaurant called Caretta and oh my god was it amazing. I had bolognese and Bailey had chicken ceaser salad, they were presented beautifully and tasted incredible I will definitely be eating there again tomorrow!!

Before dinner we had a lovely walk along the beach and found a cute little bar to have a drink in called Life’s A Beach, we both had Juicy Cocktails mine being Blackcurrant flavoured and Bailey’s being Orange, delicious!

My sister works at a restaurant called Cool Peppers which is along the beach so we decided to visit her there and enjoy our evening meal all in one. I ordered a pork chop which was huge!!! I couldn’t possibly eat all of it but I sure gave it a go as it was so tasty.

Ending the day with a midnight walk along the beach, we had a fantastic day and cannot wait for the rest of the holiday adventures. I will be blogging everyday this week to let you know what I am up to on my holiday so if you’re interested keep checking the blog!

Thank you for reading,

Alex!
